Our Metal Top features a one inch overhang at the front and sides, consistent with the look and feel of other furniture. It is flush at the back, so your setup can be placed right up against a wall. Simply place the top over your cabinets for a snug fit that adds virtually no height to the setup.

Not Sure When To Use A Mica Top Versus a Metal Top?
Metal Tops are available in the same 18 powder coat colors as our cabinets, so they match perfectly. Mica Tops are only available in 11 mica laminates, laminated to wood. Mica Tops are more scratch resistant - just like the Mica Tops on your kitchen counters. If you plan to use your top as a working counter surface, you should consider Mica. Metal Tops also have a one inch overhang - while mica tops are flush with the end of the cabinet below it, so it can butt up to a stack of cabinets next to it. Metal is the eco-friendly choice. They top off your setup and pull it together as a single furniture unit.
